Air-Smithing since 1998

Orignally I had no interest what so ever in airguns or airsmithing. To me airguns were cheaply made lumps of monkey metal and plastic that worked for a few weeks before ending up in the trash heap, However that changed in 1998 after I bought on an impulse my first Replica gun. It was a Walther P99 springer that shot roughly 50 feet and held 10 .12 gram bbs. The only thing that was not attractive about such a fine gun was the ugly FEMA orange tip that had been placed on the slide to comply with some poloticians "feel good" law. Needless to say the orange was quickly removed and the fake grey slide was painted a matte black.

I still have this gun today.. and she still shoots quite hard. (350 FPS according to the Guarder Chorney)

But my interest in Firearms and other military weapons in general goes way back to pre-school. Beleive it or not I was fascinated with the mechanical aspect of tanks, planes, Helicoptors (mainly the AH-64D), and Firearms. And of corse as I grew older the interest in Weapons and Vehicles (which was helped along by such games as "Desert Strike", "Metal Slug", And "Contra") grew to encompass Military Tactics & Stragety, Military History, and of corse The then budding Windows Personal Computer.

Well, that brings us up to 1998. Like I said I had no Idea Airsoft or for that matter Adult Airguns existed outside of what Wal-mart and K-mart stocked. So, One day after getting my ass handed to me again in Half-life I decided I would go outside and practice hitting paper with my Daisy Model 480 Grizzley. It wasn't very powerful but it was accurate out to 25 feet and of corse that seemed like a big thing back then. Of Corse I discovered that I had ran out of pellets and bbs the day before so I hopped online to check the prices on "Diabolo" Shapped pellets. A Quick google search found several airgun websites but one stood out from the others. The Name of this place was "DenTrinnity Shop" and they had displayed what appeared to be real rifles and sub-machine guns. Upon closer examination I found out that these guns were nothing more than "Replica" airguns and shot little plastic bbs.

Needless to say I wanted a G3 from the word go, but the fact that the guns cost 200+ USD and the business was located overseas turned me off. However after a lot of research I found a store locally that sold the things (mostly Spring Guns) for a "Reasonable" price (49.99, yea I got ripped). Needless to say I quickly bought both a pistol (P99) and a Rifle (KWC M16 Carbine) Both were spring operated and the KWC was simply abismal in terms of preformance and soon after broke. The rest is history..

The Story Behind My Site

Well, After being booted from just about every airsoft community out there for my "Extremist Right Wing Radical Political views" I decided to make my own place to showoff my creations, I guess I can attribute the forming of this website mainly to a man named Inferno who runs his own airsoft website under this same host.

Without insperation from his site I would of never made my own. In some ways I guess you can say I copied him in some aspects, however there is quite a diffrence between a homage and a rip-off (mine being the former). So before I get a dozen some odd E-mails from Airsoft Generals that can't spell words like Idiot, and Twat, keep that in mind.
